Monwana Game Lodge is 550 kilometres from Johannesburg (6-hour drive). You can also reach Monwana Lodge by daily scheduled flights from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, Johannesburg and Cape Town. Private charter flights direct to Thornybush Game Reserve's tarred runway can also be arranged.
Directions to Monwana Game Lodge
Take the N1 to Belfast. Then take the R36 to Lydenburg and Orighstad and then through the JG Strijdom Tunnel. Take the R531/527 to Hoedspruit. Travel through the town until you reach the second fourway stop. Turn right towards Klaserie.After 7 kilometres turn left towards Timbavati.
Follow the Thornybush signboards to the Thornybush Game Reserve, South Africa. Guests are welcomed by a ranger at the Thornybush Main Lodge.
