Game viewing is the order of the day at Siviti with activities like 4x4 game drives, guided bush walks and watching wildlife at the waterhole.
Guided bush walks at Siviti offer a better chance to see some of the smaller creatures of the reserve as well as an opportunity to learn more about the abundant flora and fauna of the region. You'll have a chance to identify and follow tracks (spoor) while studying the details of your surroundings in more detail. These walks are optional and depart after breakfast with armed tracker guides to ensure your safety.
Morning and evening game drives in open 4x4 vehicles add to the thrill of tracking wild game while covering more ground. The Thornybush Private Nature Reserve is home to an abundance of mammals including the Big Five, as well as a plethora of bird species. In winter, you can keep warm on the vehicle with hot water bottles and warm blankets supplied by the Thornybush staff.
When not out exploring with the Thornybush rangers, make the most of your stay at Siviti. Cool off in the rim-flow swimming pool overlooking the water hole, or delight in personalised meals prepared by the chef, while gazing at the animals drinking at the nearby water hole. End the day with a cognac or single malt around the campfire.
