The Safari Experience at Kwa Mbili Game Lodge

This Thornybush Nature Reserve, Kwa Mbili Game Lodge part of Greater Kruger Park, offers abundant game and bird species, thus providing you with excellent game viewing.

The bush offers much more than the well-known animal species! At Kwa-Mbili Game Lodge, the guides try to impart a little knowledge and understanding of the complex interactions within the bush environment to the guests on their safari in South Africa. They believe their guests should want to leave with not only good memories of the bush, but with an appreciation for the diversity of nature.

Wildlife Safaris

On a typically late afternoon, you depart on a game drive; enjoy sundowners in the bush before continuing on an exciting night game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening under African skies around the campfire after a day spent on safari in South Africa.

The next morning, after an early wake-up call, enjoy tea / coffee and traditional rusks before departing on a walking safari. The focus is on the small things in the bush, learning to track animals, how termites live, what the various trees and plants are used for, etc. Encounters with animals while on foot are always exciting!

After the exhilarating walk, a full English breakfast is served in the lapa (verandah). A light lunch is served around 13:00 pm. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure; read and relax around the filtered pool or spot birds and animals from the hide. Alternatively, numerous attractions in the area can be visited.
